How do we do this?
We teach you exactly what you need to know about Microsoft Office 2007. We have condensed the three-day content of each program down to one 2-hour session.
The instructor is exceptionally knowledgeable, and has some unique talents that help people to retain and understand what they have learned in the sessions.
For individual instruction in person:
The cost per 2-hour session is $45.
Most applications have multiple 2-hour sessions. These are short, focused learning sessions covering basic, intermediate and advanced features.
We can work together on your projects, if desired. Laptops can be provided for the training, if needed.
WHERE: The sessions can occur at your place of work, at your home, or at a coffee shop. Whatever works for you and the instructor.
This style of learning is often more effective and efficient than a classroom setting. We work on your projects while you learn how to do them yourself. You get things done on a professional level while knowing how to do those projects.
For individual instruction over the Internet:
The cost per 2-hour session is $45.
You need: A headset (with a mike), Skype (a free, downloadable program) and Crossloop (a free, downloadable program). I will help you get this all ready.

WHERE: The sessions will occur wherever you want to be. We can both work on the same screen at the same time. This method works great! It can also happen whenever we are both available.
For the church-based classes:
The recommended donation is $45 per 2-hour session. Give what you can.

Only Session 1 classes are taught at the churches. The Session 1 classes are designed to be nearly complete in themselves for the student. If you have just two hours in your life (at a time) to explore how to use a program in business, take a series of Session 1 classes.
WHERE: The sessions occur at the locations throughout the Bay Area. Check the schedule for times and locations.
Laptops and reference materials are provided for the training experience.
What are CORE and CAREER BUILDER sessions?
CORE sessions are what employers expect you to know already. Click here for CORE classes.
They are: Classic Excel 2007, PowerPoint 2007, PowerPoint 2007 and Outlook 2007.
CAREER BUILDER are specialized applications that make you much more valuable to employers. Click here for CAREER classes.
They are Access 2007, Power (Business) Excel 2007, Project 2007 and Visio 2007.
Who is involved?
QuarterPoint Inc. provides the laptops, customized curriculum and the reference sheets. Roger Steinbronn is the QuarterPoint instructor.
The church sessions are a ministry of the Bay Area Family Church located in San Leandro.
This ministry partners with other organizations to offer job skills training to people in the area.
